Qualcomm announces next-generation chip for smart glasses, AR devices

Alongside the new flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform, Qualcomm also introduced its new platform -- Snapdragon AR2 Gen 1 -- for Augmented Reality devices like smart glasses. The company says that the new AR2 Gen 1 platform has been built from the ground up to revolutionise the head-worn glass form factor and improvise the entire spatial computing experience for the real-world/metaverse mix.
