Apple iPhones capture 25% of ‘Made in India’ smartphone shipments in value terms: Report

Apple's 'Made in India' shipments grew 65% in volume and 162% in value YoY, with its value share reaching 25% in 2022, up from 12% in 2021, according to a report by Counterpoint Research. The increase was driven by a trend of increasing 'premiumisation' as well as increasing exports of premium smartphones.
