Stop OpenAI from releasing more ChatGPT version: US group to FTC

The Center for AI and Digital Policy (CAIDP) has filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) against OpenAI, claiming that the company has breached consumer protection rules with its AI text generation tools. OpenAI's GPT-4 programme, which can generate text similar to human speech, is said to be biassed, deceptive, and a risk to public safety.
